"Yeah" he agreed flatly, "you're right." Kaiji never would have been able to afford anything like this either, which is why it was one of the highlights of being trapped here. That, and having a bed. And the consistency of it. And the lack of Endou. It was extremely boring but nice if he ignored all of the crazy shit that happened at night. And the crazy people. Not to mention his anxiety over this therapy thing. It really did suck: he wanted to completely hate this place so badly, but he just couldn't bring himself to every time he was reminded that he was being taken care of better than he would have been if left alone.

Idly, Kaiji began to saw his fish into manageable little pieces. The conversation wasn't terribly interesting, but that wasn't necessarily a bad thing: most of his 'interesting' conversations here were about undead people and getting mauled by monsters. This was actually kind of a refreshing change from the abnormal norm. "I'm kind of from the middle of nowhere, but I moved to Tokyo a while ago." although it definitely wasn't his 'home' by any means, it was a much more prominent location than the place he grew up in. He continued, "Looking for jobs and stuff, you know." -And from the sound of it, Kaiji's search hadn't gone well.
