"Great!" Kurt said, trying to hide the small, worried stutter in his voice. Maybe Matt just hadn't been thinking about it, but Logan was there. Maybe... Kurt didn't exactly know how Matt's hearing worked yet.

"Umm..." he craned his neck over the crowd. "Ah, there's a seat over this way!" he said brightly, and began moving (maybe a little slower than was ultimately necessary...) towards the empty space. He sat down.

"The food's greasy today," Kurt observed, prodding the fish with his fork. "But I still don't know if I would eat it."
