Suzaku automatically relaxed at the order, reacting more to the forced calm in Lelouch's own voice than the words themselves. He continued to frown, picking at the fish a little as he allowed his former friend to think. He could see why Lelouch might not immediately go for the assassination option, because waiting for any time period at all might give Porky the opportunity to expose him. It would be better to remove that opportunity completely --
Suzaku blinked in surprise at the solution Lelouch finally came up with. "What?" he managed, but the Prince was already gone, and Suzaku was left to stew in his confusion and watch some girl make a speech that was eerily reminiscent of those Zero was prone to, despite a bit different in the particulars. He would have laughed if it hadn't been for his current mood.
"That's dangerous," he muttered back when Lelouch finally returned, and yet there was approval in his eyes. Of course Lelouch would make a bold move like that, because sometimes the best way to remove a threat was to challenge it directly. It was risky, it might backfire, but Porky wouldn't have an advantage over them anymore. The fallout would have been a lot worse if Lelouch just waited for someone to expose him. And if Porky still made trouble, Suzaku was more than ready to go through with the other plan.
But still. . . "I wonder how he'll respond. He's obviously not as stupid as he looks."
