Unfortunately, intelligent conversation was the last thing the vampire was likely to get. What she instead got was a very drugged, very tired youkai who, even had she been in a coherent state of mind, would have been more interested in harassing the girl that conversing with her.
After the disaster the shift before, Yukari wanted to sleep this off, but having missed breakfast due to part of it being drugged and the other part being contaminated with hands, she decided she needed to actually partake of this meal. With this in mind, by the time the youkai made it into the cafeteria itself, she had forgotten just why she wanted to take a nap and any reservations about holding another conversation. But who to talk to? She wasn't so drugged as to try approaching a stranger again in this state. She had of course spotted Sheena on the way in, but had recognized the one she was talking with as the boy from the night before. In spite of the Valium, or perhaps because of it, she decided that trying to talk with someone she'd slapped and possibly not handled with the best of graces was something to be avoided at all costs. So, instead, looking for other familiar faces, the youkai spotted the face of someone she'd actually spent more than one shift with. Trundling over through the medicinal haze, tray of fried killer cod in hand, the youkai fell into the seat across from the girl heavily, her tray hitting the table with a bang.
"You," she managed to say after a few blinks and far more effort than it should have taken her. "I know you. But. But.... I forgot your name."
She recalled saying this before. Not recently before, like she'd been doing recently. And before. But earlier. So. So she was pretty sure she had been told the girl's name. If she could just remember...
But then her eyes were closing and her head was drooping forwards and the table looked so inviting...
