"He's my roommate," Artemis replied without hesitation. "And a good friend. He looked upset about something... and I wondered if it had to do with Momochi Zabuza's disappearance."

Kakashi seemed like a nice enough person--which made Artemis all the more wary--but if Haku saw fit to sit down and eat with him, then Artemis didn't have anything to worry about. He thought. Still, if he wanted the truth, he'd have to be up front about things.

"I'm worried about him," he confessed, looking down at his plate and frowning. "He says he's alright, but I can't help but think that there's something else I can do."

He paused, wondering if he should continue. "If... I mean, did you know him very well? If there's anything that might help, I'd like to hear it..."
