"How wonderful--I've never been one for formalities." Unless he was flirting, he made no effort to make them, either. They only served to waste time, it seemed.

"I'm afraid we've never met, no, but I am well aware of you and your world. It was a most unpleasant place to be, really." And it was. He was not going to speak of it ever again. "I am simply surprised you are still within these walls. From the time you've written your little message on the board to this very moment... well," he paused and shook his head, chuckling, "I would have wagered you to be gone by now. It seems I was mistaken." A pity. As intimidating as the king could be, he had a nasty habit of turning into a worse drama queen than Grell (who at least had an excuse. He was a lady, after all) the second he held the power he so deviously plotted for. Thankfully, Marluxia never had the change to show whether he would do the same.
