Suzaku unconsciously frowned as he followed Lelouch's progress over to the table. He looked truly angry, which confirmed Suzaku's suspicions that things had not gone well. How badly was the question now, and a pressing one considering how much was at stake. Porky had better not pose any threat to their plans, let alone a threat to Lelouch himself, or he would have to be dealt with. Suzaku didn't like dealing with people that way, but at hearing that kind of control in Lelouch's voice his worry spilled over.
"Of course, but I wasn't close enough to hear what you two were saying. What happened?" he asked without preamble. He wanted to get straight to the point, to find out what went wrong so he could fix it. If Lelouch happened to be in any kind of danger, he would have to act quickly.
He was still a little hesitant about their relationship right now and where exactly he stood with Lelouch, not sure whether he could tease him like he had on the board or even if he should. But all that fell away at the possibility that his Prince needed to be protected, which was all too likely considering he had felt the need to use codenames on the board when they had previously been open about their identities and their association.
