Van knew that Teisel considered him to be a coward. Not that it was too difficult to understand. After all, Van had run from the situation and explaining that he and Asch's lives were worth more too much to fight an invisible opponent for the sake of someone he considered expendable would not improve matters any.

The only thing that would fix the situation would be to meet Teisel on his terms and prove that he was no coward. He couldn't risk letting Teisel spread rumors and have the patients here know him as someone they can't trust. Not yet at least.

Once second shift began, Van didn't waste any time to begin searching for Teisel. The other man was tall enough to be easily seen, even from a distance and, thankfully, was a fair distance from anyone that might try to interfere if things escalated to violence. Immediately, Van went to him.

"You wished to talk?" He asked in the way that men do when they already know the answer.
