Much to his dismay, of course; he'd tried hard to make sure that Heat didn't cause too many problems, but those ingrained instincts- and the hunger that he had tactfully not mentioned to Peter at the moment- were just too difficult to completely suppress. Especially for someone like Heat, who didn't really want to suppress them anyway.
