Well, that sealed it that he'd been pegged, somehow. Getting lucky with both names? Not very likely, especially when he'd been using aliases up until now. Still, that didn't help him narrow down what this apple-obssessed joker really was, seeing as there was a long, long list of monsters and other crap out in the world that killed humans. Dean wasn't even surprised, especially because the average human was easy prey. They didn't know what was out there, much less how to defend themselves.

"Sounds like either you already knew who I was or someone told you, which seems more likely to me," Dean said. And why was Slappy even laughing now? Christ, he would've rather run up against something that made it obvious it wanted to string him up like a piece of meat - at least that was straight-forward. Sitting next to a "god" who drooled over apples like they were from the Ritz Carlton wasn't his definition of straight-forward, especially when he couldn't tell if he wanted to kill him or was just being frank about it. "Anything else your invisible crystal ball tell you? Or am I wasting my time?"

He had to know if he was dealing with a tricky bastard who could read minds, like a shapeshifter. He'd run into shifters a few times, but those few times were more than enough. They could read your mind, become you even as they went around leaving shed skin all over the damn place. He still wasn't much closer to narrowing down if Slappy here was really a god or just something else he hunted...which wasn't helping when he wanted to figure out exactly how he was gonna go about killing the guy. He already sounded like bad news if he was openly bragging about killing humans, which made him more than fair game in Dean's book.
