It seemed that his delight in hearing a familiar accent was mutual and Grell's smile grew just a little bit brighter. While Grell had made Donna's acquaintance, that woman had rubbed him the wrong way and he refused to put her on the role call of 'proper' English women. Who cared if she was from London? She had pissed him off with all that 'not a real woman' talk and he'd be more likely to rip her in half than to speak cordially to her again.
Thankfully, he had been privy to much more pleasant companionship today. This Luxord had just taken the lead with that little trick of his, too. A kiss and a proper greeting? Oh, but this was going to be delicious. "Please, sit, Luxord. There's no sense in standing about, is there?"
One thing he said definitely caught Grell's attention though. A mutual acquaintance? Who? Someone who would describe Grell as he really was and give his name - and talk to someone like Luxord about him. The smile disappeared from his lips and Grell felt his anger rising again. "May I wager a guess and say you heard my name from a little robot?"
