Good day. Bad day. It was getting tough to tell anymore. Maybe Harley should just write it up as weird. Maybe it was actually Friday the Thirteenth and she didn't know it. Heck, she didn't even know what the date was anymore. Life surrounded by walls all the time had a way of doing that to you.
Supposedly aware of her care's rotten mood, the nurse asked if she's rather go to the Music Room or Sun Room. And boy, Harley couldn't choose 'Sun Room' fast enough. A bunch of whackos let loose with cymbals and trumpets? You kidding? That was a headache and a sedation waiting to happen. One needle in the arm was enough for her, thank you very much.
She walked in and stretched her arms up above her head. One frustration after another. If she could actually relax this shift, it would be a blasted miracle, that was for sure. Maybe she should try sneaking a nap. It was quiet enough here for one. There was barely anyone in here.
Though, one of them looked very familiar for some reason. She was sure she didn't know the person, but that white hair stood out in her memory. She'd met him before, hadn't she? Somewhere... Now where had she...? Ah! Wait! It clicked right there. That was one of the guys from that night she'd been out with her darlings! He was one of the ones who'd tried to help her! Him and another girl.
Well, that was a good sign. Right? Someone nice that she recognized, though he looked kind of lost in thought himself. Maybe he was having a lousy day, too. That about settled it. Harley quickly found herself walking over to him with a huge grin. (Wow, she hadn't smiled all day now, had she?) She enthusiastically waved a hand. "Heya! Havin' a rough day, too?"
