It was kind of typical that the room was in the corridor furthest from the entrance, but Ronixis supposed that the man might have belongings or perhaps a first aid kit which would make going to a particular room better than ducking into any one of them. Or maybe there were other people in the rooms, although he didn't hear any noise from them as they passed. They could be asleep? Ah, but he was going to get nowhere if he didn't get some real information.

The walk to the end of the corridor seemed to take an eternity, with the young man leaning heavily against him, Ronixis braced for every stumble. Finally they reached the room, and Ronixis shone his flashlight over the numbers. Definitely the room that the man had said, hopefully he'd said the right room.

"Right," Ronixis agreed, shifting his weight so that he could reach out and pushed the door open. "There we go," he said clearly to the man. "Let's go."
