This was more or less what Marcus had expected from a game room. He wasn't interested in playing anything, really, but it would be at least better than sitting around in the sun room doing nothing.
Out of the available games, Marcus decided on chess. Unfortunately, that required an opponent. Marcus had the feeling he wouldn't have to wait long for one, though, not with the looks Stefan had been giving him at lunch. Marcus set out the board and began putting the pieces in their proper places. It was tempting to set the white pieces up for Stefan just to see if he'd comment on it, but Marcus put them on his side instead.
