All these books did were telling stories and the feline had never quite seen the gain in listening to them (or in this care 'reading', which was only a little less tiresome than the ramblings of the next person). In addition; considering most stories here seemed to be about humans and their ridiculous habits, Scar found himself being rather confused by them anyway.
