It'd been a while since Gin had seen his roommate, but he couldn't say he was worried. Gin took the time to play out his evening, since he obviously wouldn't be attending the memorial for Abarai Renji. It was possible that Momo and Izuru might, but with their earlier conversation, he had reason enough to believe that they'd be just as likely to come hunt him down tonight instead.

Not to mention the possibility of a doctor's visit tomorrow. Gin wanted to be well-prepared for that. A trip to the upstairs kitchen or one of the storage closets might be in order. The more small, sharp object he had on hand, the better.
