DAY 37: MEN'S SHOWERS (4th Shift)
There had been an awkward air left between him and Tyki after their conversation. Yuuri knew he wasn't the best at explaining much of anything, and for the tenth time he wondered why Murata wasn't here to answer the difficult questions for him. Everyone had been herded out of the cafeteria after that, and Yuuri had simply followed along in confusion as he headed towards the showers.
Yuuri still hadn't seen Wolfram yet and the young Maou was wondering if the blonde Mazoku was alright. Stretching his head up higher, Yuuri attempted to look over the heads of the other patients around him in an attempt to catch sight of Wolfram. Unfortunately, though, he was unsuccessful.
"Where are you, Wolfram?" He muttered to himself while stepping under the shower's spray. Maybe a shower would help clear his mind.

"Yes. Yes we are." And, strictly speaking, he was right. Identical twins came from a single fertilized egg and shared DNA. In a purely scientific sense, they were, in fact, clones.
So Hikaru wasn't even lying. That much.
Part of him wanted to end the ruse and rub it in Danny's face that he'd been gullible enough to beat him, but the part that wanted to see how far he could take this won out.
"Or I could be Hika-bot. I really do like the sound of that."

Oh god. He'd taken the bait!
"Yes. Yes we are," he said in unison with Hikaru, closing his eyes and practically purring as his hair was washed. Hosting and pulling legs all at once. It was unbelievable how things were picking up.
He opened them and looked at 'Kaoru', rather bashfully. "Oh...it's just... I always wanted a little brother called Kaoru. But we can change it if you want?" He smiled at his clone. What a lucky boy he was to have such a thing!

Danny looked between the two clones (unless one was a robot like they said, which made no sense to Danny since he was taking a shower) and finally gave up.
"Wait, which of you is Hikaru?" he asked, glancing between the two. "And are you guys really clones?" He had to doubt the story at least a little bit, but he wasn't entirely sure what sort of an answer he was expecting. It was like asking a child whether or not he stole some candy--it wasn't as if the kid was going to say "yes" in response...except this time, Danny wasn't really sure what sort of an answer he was going to get at all.

Hikaru couldn't help it now. This was just too...adorably pathetic. Did the twins keep going, or should they cut the poor guy some slack? Hikaru almost felt bad for him. He was just so gullible!
Once he'd finished shampooing Kaoru's hair, the older of the twins started in on his own. "We could change it," he murmured, as if to himself. "Maybe instead of a clone I could actually be Hikaru, he could be my younger twin brother, Kaoru, and we could've been having you on for the past...oh...ten minutes or so."
He grinned at Danny, completely unapologetic. "That sound good?"
no subject
"Oh, you and your imagination, Daniel. No wait, Andrew?"
He put a hand on Hikaru's shoulder and turned him to the side a little so he could return the favour of hair washing.

"I can explain!" he finally said, and then paused. "Actually, I really can't." Not without making him sound like a huge freak, at any rate, and these two seemed pretty normal as far as teenage boys went.

"You like science fiction a lot?" he supplied helpfully, raising his hand to form the "live long and prosper" sign. "Like that? D'you write bad fanfiction, too?"
