[Free Gambler~ Comes with a kitten.]

The beginning of lunch was spent in the Sun Room munching on onion rings, chatting with Nursey, petting Tyche (who had decided she wanted some of his food, which he obliged with), and causing trouble on the board. One could say he was being a bit of a troll, sneaking from posting to posting and angering people as much as possible. At least, he was until he slipped.

The rest of lunch was spent mumbling to himself, writing in his journal, and generally berating himself for that little error on the board.

ruse, rouse, rouse, ruse, rouse, ruse, it was one letter off, just one but the damage was done. Someone had seen it and mocked him for it. He knew the difference, damn it, he knew. But someone thought he didn't. Someone was under the impression that he was a pompous moron who knew nothing of the English language. Luxord had read the thesaurus and encyclopedia countless times! He knew the difference!

HE KNEW.

Then came fourth shift and it was forgotten, leading way to the current image of the Gambler lounging on a couch--grinning as always and petting the little black kitten in a way that just screamed "mafia." People were sobbing about something else (he'd heard about this Renji before, a few times. One would think his being dead would stop his incessant need to cause drama and his oh so manly tears, but evidently not), meaning the Gambler had something to divert his attention. Something delicious: other peoples' pain.

He would sometimes ponder Sora's reasoning for killing him. It was times like these when the answer was simple and plain for all to see: he was evil. And more than that? He enjoyed being so.
