Strangely enough, the man's response raised a dry little chuckle out of Depth Charge, and for an (mercifully brief) instant he was reminded of Rattrap. A ghost of a smile remained on his face even after the laugh- maybe this one would live up to the memory and spare him the slag that nurse had been giving him. The mouse wasn't exactly good company, sure, but at this point? He'd have taken six of him.
