His hand stayed at her side, but it was hesitant, somewhat nervous. If he were in Izuru's shoes, he might not hesitate to hurt the one that he cared about. And while he knew Izuru wouldn't sink as low as he would, it certainly made his previously casual attitude begin to fade. It was a lot harder to find the words he was looking for.
