Part of him wanted to see how far he could push Izuru now. To see what it would take to get him to stand on his own two feet and attack. The other wanted to see if now that he was here, he could become useful again. They'd been close once, and that much was reason for why being left behind and betrayed had to have stung so much. A week ago Gin might not have been able to comprehend that feeling of hopeless despair or regret, but thanks to the questionable methods of his therapist, he had a slightly better idea.
