"I'm Elle," she responded tersely, grabbing her left arm to make sure it was still attached to her body. In her annoyance and total lack of knowing where she was going, the memory her father's visit was beginning to fade. She didn't feel like playing nice, and since Daddy had only mentioned the boys, not the fighting, he probably didn't know what she got up to at night.
