She didn't pause, only noting that the halls were empty for once. It seemed that she was one of the first out. It didn't matter in the long run. She was focused on her tasks; nothing else registered.
"That's the plan." Seiya nodded. Michiru seemed to be in a better mood today, or maybe it was just Seiya's imagination. Maybe she was getting better at tolerating Seiya's presence. "Up the staircase and try for the balcony, first."
It wasn't something to worry too much about, and it didn't change anything. Alert to Michiru's actions, Seiya still led the way again, flashlight and spear both at the ready. If she had to turn to defend herself, she wouldn't be surprised. Hopefully not, though, so long as they both had the same goals. That was the pleasure of professionalism, again. Soldiers who recognized the importance of the mission over personal feelings... even if Seiya could hardly claim this mission was about anything else for her.
