Whatever happened to Reid, it left his roommate looking like he'd gone through the ringer. Mori really didn't understand why Reid always chose to be the hostile one, but when he asked the obvious question ratherly bluntly and then offered a bribe to keep Mori quiet, he sighed and shook his head.
It wasn't like he'd tell on him anyway. The nurse was gone, and what Reid did with his lungs was his business. He'd just been afraid that perhaps a cigarette had been left lying somewhere or that something had happened to his roommate. He was usually on the bed when Mori entered the room, which made his somewhat guarded position by the closet unusual.
