He never said he was not friends with Celes, if their last night together had meant anything. He simply did not know her enough. In fact, it seemed Noah and Naminé were their only connections, as of now.

Still, the topic of leaving once again returned. And when Naminé said that, Luxord went quiet, only pulling his cards from his sleeves and shuffling them from hand to hand as he mulled over what to say.

It was a gamble. Chances were that the smaller Nobody would reject him and try to convince him of another way, of something else. Nothing else would change his mind, really. He'd been thinking of this for days now and it seemed a good enough time as any to speak of it.

Hopefully it would go over better with the Witch than it did Xigbar.

"If I were to tell you that I plan to stay on this world, to... assimilate." That sounded like the right word. "Would you consider staying with me? Would you consider leaving all the fighting, Kingdom Hearts, the Heartless and Nobodies... Leaving all of it behind in order to be human? To gain a heart and not have share it with someone who hardly knows you?" He smiled, but it was awfully transparent, maybe even pained. "I'd be rather lonely without you, you know.
