So the Replica was released? It would have been a lie to say Luxord wasn't interested in the idea of leaving through those unconventional channels, but the expression on poor Naminé's face proved how against the idea she was. It was sad to think of it, really.

Maybe in another life they could be happy, even if it was a lie. They were family in this world, were they not? They could be happy, normal, human here. He could take care of her and they'd be happy. ...Now would not be the best of times to mention this, however. The thought was pushed away.

"Is this such a horrible fate?" he questioned as he took a seat, partially distracted by a side-table as glitter flew through the air and one of those twins (he remembered lying and telling one the other had died some nightshift ago. Perhaps they wouldn't notice him) screaming a 'happy birthday.'

The talk of Celes brought him back, though. He gave a smug grin at the mention of her being a 'friend.' "That she is. She'd not say anything of me, did she?"
