"Yep, time traveller; that's me!" The Doctor raised an eyebrow at John's shocked expression. Really, you'd think people had never heard of time travel! Oh, sure, loads of people from loads of times and places didn't think it was actually possible, but the concept itself shouldn't have been too strange.

At least John wasn't protesting that it wasn't possible. No, he seemed curious, and curiosity was good. Curiosity made people think and question and learn.
