Creating a human or using alchemy to revive one who has died. But simply it's forbidden doesn't mean it isn't practiced. I was created with alchemy, in an attempt to revive a dead human woman. I'm what's called a homunculus, a created human. The differences are slight - I bleed and think and feel like a human. But I don't age and it's difficult to kill me. And my soul is... incomplete."
