Meche started off down the street from the pet store, keeping an eye out for someplace where she and Yuna could eat. A couple of blocks later, she got lucky--that Twin Pines place was one of their options. And with all those newspaper clippings in the window, she was banking on the food being pretty good.

Either way, at least it would be warmer than outside.
