Skuld had been cautiously looking forward to going to town, just to see what was there... up until she was given her clothes for the day. Yeah, she'd looked forward to ditching her uniform--until she was just given another one. The blouse's frilly collar was bad enough, but the buttons were heart-shaped, and the skirt was blue, gray, and yellow plaid. Plus knee socks, and shoes that looked a lot like the indoor shoes every school she'd ever seen on TV required...
