Artemis wasn't about to laugh at Haku's clearly punk-goth ensemble. His own was, most likely, just as hideous. With some biting remarks and scolding comments, Artemis finally let Nurse Hedgerow strip him (in front of Haku, no less! What kind of a hospital was this?! ...silly question). When she stepped back, Artemis was dressed in a pair of loose-fitting baggy shorts that had to be belted to his waist, a t-shirt with "Born to Shop" written across the front, and a hideous, oversized overshirt with blue flames on the edges of the sleeves and hem. Well, perhaps he could get used to the flames.
Still, he looked like a rejected skater boy. How on earth was he supposed to be taken seriously looking like this? And what had possessed this woman to think that a shirt with the words, "Born to Shop" belonged on a male?
The boy looked as though he could have spawned a rain cloud around him.
