Tossing off her sheets, she pulled her pants up and stared at a few bandaids littered around her flesh.

Swallowing hard, Kairi moved from her bed and to the door, looking at the happy nurse who had been standing there prior to her awakening. Moving through the hallways, she was silent, thoughts swirling around her head as she thought about last night. They had gotten outside … and what had they seen? Some huge, incredibly macabre monster?
Grabbing a random plate of food, Kairi sat herself down in silence, picking at bits of things in silent thought.
