At Reid's words, he turned to face the blond. It was impossible to miss the odd glint of the other's eyes, even in the dim glow of the flashlight beam. Then again, he couldn't really blame Reid, either.
"I know you can," he answered patiently, peeking back out the door once more, wondering if the way would clear or if they'd need to try another exit. "But if we want to get over the fall, we don't want to get stuck in a pointless fight first, right?"
