Nightshift 32: Patient Possessions Storage

Seiya edged the door open slowly, then shone her flashlight around the room, trying to catch edges or anywhere that something might be hiding. After a moment, she sighed and simply pointed it straight ahead of them. With so many boxes, it was impossible to try and see around every shadow cast. "How many people are being kept here?" she wondered out loud. The room seemed to be remarkably crowded, but then, so had the cafeteria and Sun Room earlier. Then she had to wonder, Do the people who die or disappear also have their items disappear from this place?
She was a little hopeful despite Leon's warning that they wouldn't have anything from her real life, no weapons or other artifacts. If nothing else, maybe... what had the nurses called her again? Maybe Akamoto Hikari had some interesting knick-knacks. "Do you want to look for our own boxes? Or just take what we find?" That might be cheating, a bit, stealing from other patients in a sense. But it was stealing something that wasn't really theirs, just another lie from the Institute, right?
