It had all started out so innocently. It had been fine, it had been fine. He might have been a pervert, but he was relatively harmless - he hadn't really been hurting her, aside from the slamming-against-things part and the pin-down part, but then the bite had to come.

The hiss should have been adequate warning - warning that something terrible was going to happen. Alkaid couldn't see very well without her flashlight, but she knew the shape was coming at her neck, and then before she knew it it felt quite like she was being ripped apart at the seams.

It was a pain unlike she'd ever experienced before; this was rending, and terrible. It wasn't just because of this body, either. No, this pain was real, much as she wished it wasn't.

She couldn't even think. Nor could she scream. She just lay there, mouth open in some grotesque symbol of horror as the blood drained from her, traces of venom taking its place. It hurt. Terribly.

Who'd save her? Haseo -- no. Haseo wasn't here. Badou..? Someone else..? Because right now she needed a hero, and fast.
