Tyler glanced up as an unfamiliar boy took a seat beside him. He caught the muttered words, and couldn't stifle a quiet chuckle.

"You haven't seen the half of it," he said in greeting, turning to study the stranger curiously. "Let me guess, you're one of the new patients that just showed up, right?"

He held out a hand with a crooked smile. "I'm Tyler. Tyler Simms."
