In a deadpan sort of voice-- though not as even as Zelnick could have hoped, what with trying not to laugh at Xigbar's eyebrow-wiggling-- he replied, "Tolerance of his weirdness is very important to him, yes." Nothing wrong with agreeing with Xigbar, after all!

Especially a Xigbar that seemed to be enjoying himself so much. And he'd hit on a "yes" answer right off the bat! Xigbar's version of "multiple dimensions" probably didn't bear much resemblance to Zelnick's Hyper- and Quasispace, but it was a starting point.

"The freebie's appreciated." He tapped his fingers against his cheek, thoughtfully, before asking, "Is that spaceship-less travel you mentioned facilitated by moving between dimensions?" That would be something of an interesting parallel, wouldn't it?
