The ends of the boy's mouth pulled down into a frown. It did not take a genius to figure out what this girl did. Still, the lack of details scared Ken, who after losing another person so recently, had no desire to take that chance.

The boy had to remember, however, Yukari may have been a teammate, but she was also older. If she said she was all right, he had to believe her, didn't he?

This was all so very frustrating.

"Okay, Yukari-san," Ken finally muttered. "But I hope they're keeping you away from her."
