Aw man, the last time Xigbar had had a person breaking down it just hadn't ended well. Darn it. Ah well, he'd roll with this as best he could. Besides, maybe Zelnick would be more thankful than a Nobody could be.

And the captain had better be thankful for just how lucky he was, too. If Xigbar had been in anything but a really good mood, he would have prodded that obvious wound until he got something. Instead, the Nobody shrugged. "Hard to say, dude. I'm not from your world, so I dunno how things work out. But."

Here he grinned, speaking with utter confidence- as really, only Xigbar could. "I've been over a whole bunch of worlds, and I've made a special study of the heart. One thing I found in common, no matter where you go, is that people remember the sacrifices 'n' the bravery. That means that, if you left with a big enough bang? Yeah, you're gonna be remembered."

Then the Nobody laughed, and teasingly tapped the other man on the forehead. "Heck, you could even wind up bein' a 'hero' when you get back. All depends on how you left. In any case, sounds like you're gonna have a home to get back to... you shouldn't think that's a small thing."
