The first part of what Angel said made sense. Many here were incredibly potent, and it was possible he, too, was much more powerful than his condition here represented.

The second part, however, did not. Hitsugaya never bothered much with the old western vampire myths--like most western legends, they were seldom true and rarely relevant--and so the concept of driving a wooden anything through anyone's heart was lost on him. He raised an eyebrow curiosly at what Angel suggested.

"Why wood?" he asked.
