It saddened Hanyuu to see Rika like this. The other girl had already been through so much, more than what any human being should have been forced to go through. Hanyuu wanted to see her friend happy-- truly happy. She wanted to see them all happy, but that would not happen here, would it? This place only brought about false illusions of hope, that would then dissolve into sadness and... eventually, death.

The Rules in this place may have been different than in Hinamizawa, but the result would still be the same.

Still, Hanyuu could think about that later, when she was alone. Right now she was with Rika, and she wanted to try and help the other girl feel better. Even in the least bit.

Reaching out, the spirit took Rika's hands in her own. "Rika, listen to me. Even Rena, who has been here longer than we have, hadn't known they would ever take Mion. No one could have known that.
