That was what had felt a little off about Hitsugaya. Angel hadn't been able to place it until now. He wondered, too, how much of a choice these shinigami had in choosing their bodies. He couldn't quite say why someone would prefer the figure of a boy, but he couldn't claim to be any expert in understanding other people, either.

"A binding spell could explain it." He scanned his surroundings briefly. "I guess you didn't notice anything strange before you were pulled in here? Like, a disturbance in the air? Maybe some bright light?"
