Ashe would never get used to the odd sensation of waking up in her bed when she'd been conversing, quite awake, moments before. It felt almost as though it should have been a dream, but the truth of the matter was that it hadn't been. It never would be a dream, and the princess wasn't entirely certain that she would've wanted it that way. With a fight, fruitless as it might seem, at least there was the sense of a struggle, a reason to continue to exist with even the smallest shred of hope to cling to. Dalmasca needed her, and she would not stop fighting so long as she a duty to fulfill.
As she entered the cafeteria and retrieved some muffins and juice for her morning meal, Ashe couldn't help but notice the rather loud, young man standing atop a table and shouting at the top of his lungs. She knew she shouldn't involve herself with such people; the loud, abrasive types always tended to land themselves in the most trouble, but if anything the princess felt the need to attempt some manner of reason before he got himself sedated. As she walked past the table, Ashe stopped for a moment, looking up at the fool as she hissed,
"Do not be an idiot. If you will cease making such a scene, I shall do my best to answer your questions." How had she become the official greeter of the newcomers anyhow?
