Jack's face fell. So much for that hope. "Oh. I guess I shouldn't be surprised." He scratched his stubble. "But, I mean, you know "Jack and the Beanstalk", right? Even if you've never seen my films?"

He drummed his fingers on the table. "God, I wish I'd found some booze last night."
