Kaoru wanted to argue that he and Hikaru HAD been sticking together. Only...if it were completely true, neither of them would have been hurt so bad. He also wanted to argue that sticking together had been his wish from the start. But things just....went wrong here. It was something in the air, maybe.

He wanted Tamaki to smile. If that happened, then things would feel normal and he and Hikaru could relax and smile too.
