William was in high spirits when he woke that morning. The joy of the battle and, far greater, the prospect of even momentarily gaining access to the cadaver of that man...! It was all enough to give the doctor somewhat of a skip in his step as he was escorted into the Sun Room (he was never much for religion and gods).

It was a pity he could not have made it to the lab nor that he could have kept the body, though. William held back and unhappy scowl at the thought, he had gotten far more progress last night than any other-- a few setbacks could be overlooked. Nodding to himself, the doctor seated himself in an empty chair and opened his journal to continue taking notes.
