He'd noticed Ururu before she got near the couch where he sat, but he waited until she was close before he dog-eared the book and set it down beside him. He gave her a smile, though it wasn't all it might have been the day before. There was still no sign of the others and after last night, it was becoming more and more difficult to hope.
"Good morning to you too Ururu," he offered, "I'm doing just fine. You were really impressive last night, you know? I had no idea you were so amazing. I hope you're doing alright too?" He tried to keep the worry from his face, but he'd seen the way she walked, with a little more stiffness and caution than most children. He'd abandoned her last night to find help for Keman, but... she'd seemed to be doing alright.
