Kratos was mildly startled by the quiet greeting- he had not been expecting any conversation at all, nor was he about to initiate any, being a solitary person. "Good morning." He returned the favor in a similar soft tone, leaving his words hanging for what seemed an eternity. Socially Kratos failed, and he was at a loss on what to follow up with. Searching for something to say lest he let the situation grow too awkward for either's liking, he spoke the first thing that came to mind:

"...Your posture suggests that you are uncomfortable- thrown into uncharted waters, have we?" It wasn't the best thing to say, but at least he was trying?
