Nightshift 26: M88
Leon's roommate had left before he'd had a chance to speak with him - though he had seemed a little out of it, so this may have been understandable. It didn't help that the boy was currently facing away from the other bed, fiddling with the radio in his lap.
He didn't like this place. Granted, he doubted anyone liked this place, but it had done something to his group that made him feel uneasy. With so few of them there, one would assume they would try to stick together at every given opportunity, yet they had divided themselves for the nightshift. Where were Ashton and Dias going that Leon couldn't follow? Hadn't he prooved himself in dangerous situations before?
Grumbling incoherently, he tossed the radio aside and laid down on his back with his arms splayed to the side. Well let them be that way, then. If they thought him important enough to bring along, they could come and get him. He'd find out where he stood.
----------
It was a couple hours later, laying on his bed and trying to write in his journal but finding the work difficult with his mind so scattered, that Leon finally sat up again and growled in agitation. Still no one had come for him, and he was torn between anger and worry. Had they really just decided not to bring him along? Or had they been endangered somehow and simply couldn't reach him?
Either way, he didn't think he could stay in this room any longer. He had to get out and see what was going on. His book wasn't finished, but there might be enough just to work a few spells if he had to, granted this place even allowed him that. He would go out and look for his friends.
And if they were perfectly fine he was going to beat them up himself.
