While it made perfect sense to Kadaj that the stairwells would be optimal places for an ambush of some kind, the monsters of Landel's apparently didn't share those views. How very dull. He snorted softly as he began to climb the stairs, luminous green eyes taking in his surroundings as he crept upwards. Dull, dull, dull, dull, dull. Not that he was looking forward to being attacked, but at least it would have gotten rid of the monotony. Besides, he was still annoyed about what Cloud had said and any opportunity to vent would be welcome.
He'd just have to wait, he supposed. The monsters couldn't all be hiding.
